Samantha Durfee

I am a student working on getting my bachelors degree in Deaf Studies with an emphasis on interpreting. I have been studying at Utah Valley University for the past three years and will graduate in Spring 2019.

I became interested American Sign Language after seeing two interpreters at Disneyland; the first interpreted the Candlelight Processional and the second interpreted "Snow White: An Enchanting Musical." These interpreters inspired me to take three years of ASL at my high school, which lead me to pursued taking more classes that focus on Deaf culture in college.
